The double-elimination episode 6 of Survivor: Nicaragua opened at the Espada tribe with Dan confessing to Holly that he is thinking about leaving the competition. Dan confesses he is tired, wet and may not last much longer to the physical challenges.

Later, Holly and Yve are talking on the beach, and Yve is upset that she was not aware of the group’s plan to go after Tyrone. Holly said it was because the group assumed Yve and Tyrone were in an alliance and vowed to be more honest going forward.

At the La Flor tribe, Jill and Marty are upset about their new, younger tribe mates, saying their lazy.

The twist that comes when the tribes meet with Jeff on the beach for a double challenge where both tribes will be putting someone up for elimination. The contest will allow one person from each team to gain individual immunity. The winner of the individual immunity challenge will then face off with the other tribe’s winner for the reward challenge.

For the challenge, contestants must race to dig up circular rings and return the rings to a post on the opposite end of the group. The first person from each team wins immunity and goes on to a ring-toss completion to decide which team will win a beef and chicken kebab feast. The winners will feast while listening in on the other tribes Tribal Council.

Holly wins on the Espada side while Jill wins for La Flor. In the ring toss, Jill is victorious and wins a feast for her tribe.

Scrambling before the Tribal Council, Marty attempts to get Fabio to turn the game around and vote out Brenda by joining his alliance. Marty refers to Brenda as the ‘black widow’ and says she must be voted out.

At La Flor’s Tribal Council, Marty declines to use his immunity idol, saying he feels he is safe for another week. When the votes are revealed, Marty and Kelly B. both received three votes, Brenda received two votes. It then goes down to a tiebreaker vote, and Kelly B. is eliminated with four votes.

In Espada’s council meeting, Dan encourages the tribe to vote out Yve saying she has been “arrogant.” Yve said she believed Dan should be taken out, and in the end because he is weak in challenges. But it is Yve voted off by four of her teammates.

On the next espide of Survivor: Nicaragua, Sash attempts to get the Immunity Idol from Marty and Jane fishes for herself.
