Steve Harvey can now add game show host to his list of accomplishments in the entertainment industry. Harvey, considered one of the funniest comedians in the business, is bringing his sharp and witty personality to “Family Feud”. The show debuted with its new host on Monday.
The “Family Feud” is changing, according to Steve Harvey. Viewers need to be prepared for the hilariousness the show is bringing. He boasts in an interview “I bet you there’s not a funnier game show on TV. We’ve done some pretty incredible stuff so far.” Although Steve Harvey is funny by nature, he confessed that show contestants has made it rather easy for him to be funny, “you’re not the genius you were at home on the couch. Some of these non-genius answers I get to comment on, and they give me plenty of material,” Harvey said during the interview.
Harvey, one of the Original Kings of Comedy, known for the robust and sometimes vulgarities of their comedy promises to keep it G-rated, “after 26 years of being a standup, I know how to work clean. I know how to keep it in the boundaries,” Harvey said.
In 2006, Harvey performed “Yet” a stand-up show for a Christian audience, which had stipulations of clean language. It was one of the most successful stand-up performances to date for Harvey.
John O’Hurley hosted the show for the last four years but left to pursue other career options. Currently Harvey has taped 100 shows that began airing on Monday.
