The lineups for the best college football games of the season are set and early January is looking to bring one game after another game of stellar action as teams play in nationally televised games to wrap up their seasons.
The BCS Bowl game season kicks off Jan. 1 with the Rose Bowl and from then on out viewers will get a chance to see how the top ten-college football teams fair against each other. All the action culminates on Jan. 10 when Oregon takes on Auburn in the BCS National Championship Game. It is a strong match up with both team offering balanced defense and offense. The deciding factor will likely be which team gains possession of the ball last.
Auburn coach Gene Chizik is seeing his team reach the championship game in only its second year under his leadership.
“Whether you’re in your second year or your 20th year, it’s an extremely difficult game to get to,” Chizik said Sunday night, after the Jan. 10 Oregon-Auburn game in Glendale, Ariz. was announced. “You can coach your whole life and never be involved in one of these. I just feel lucky.”

On New Year’s Day, Wisconsin takes on TCU in the Rose Bowl, and Connecticut fights Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Two days later, the Orange Bowl brings Stanford and Virginia Tech together. On Jan. 4, Ohio State takes on Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. Finally, make way for the ducks, as on Jan 10; it is Oregon versus Auburn in the national championship title game.
