Cebu Pacific airline has sent its flight attendants to learn a “safety dance” choreographed by Lady Gaga. The dance is made in a bid to make demonstrations of in-flight safety more lively and fun.
The video to this song has been uploaded in the internet a few days ago. It features the airlines flight attendants demonstrating to passengers how to use life preserver vests, seat belts and oxygen masks while dancing to “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga and afterwards “California Gurls” by Katy Perry.
Vice president for marketing and distribution for Cebu airline, Candice Iyog, said that they have been receiving only good feedbacks. “The safety demo dance rendition is just another way to bring out our fun culture and showcase our homegrown talents. We plan to roll this out onto more flights after receiving great recommendations from the global public.”
Executives at Cebu airline assured: “We do not compromise safety in anything we do.” Candice went to say that standard demonstration on safety was being carried out first while the “safety dance” came later.
Gaga who was up beat, was also part of the demonstration on safety which involved how to put the oxygen masks and how to put on the safety belt when the need arises.
In the dance, “Just Dance” is played in the background for the demo aboard the Cebu Pacific flights. The video can be watched in Youtube where several Philippine flight attendants do the choreographed dance moves made by Lady Gaga.
